My name is Anthony Calderon. I’m a designer driven by a core belief that great design creates a genuine connection between good design and human emotion.
I’ve built my career on the principle that the most effective work is the work that people can truly feel. For me, design is more than solving a problem; it’s a conversation. Whether it’s a brand identity,
a website layout, or packaging design, my goal remains to create work that resonates on a genuine, human level.
My obsession began in a small high school classroom where I learned the basics of Photoshop. It’s in that space that I developed my love for digital design and a passion for creating connections through my work. My approach is rooted in the idea that every project, regardless of scale, is an opportunity to build a bridge.
Good graphic design builds trust, inspires loyalty, and turns passive viewers into active participants.

Art stands at the intersection of creativity and resistance, serving as a powerful vehicle for political expression. The objective of this project was to create a book “The Art of Resistance,” meant to explore the profound impact that art has had throughout history in shaping social and political landscapes.
In the current digital age, music is more often consumed through a small screen you keep in your pocket, this raises the question of the importance of album art as we knew it. The answer is simply that album art is far more than a random design associated with the music, it is a first impression. It’s a bridge created between the artist’s world and the listener’s imagination.
The very essence of jazz is rooted in dialogue and collective creation. The spirit of collaborative improv creates a shared language that dissolves differences and builds understanding. The goal when desigining for this jazz festival was to make the audience feel that this is not just an event they are attending but a community they are being welcomed in to.
When designing a product/brand such as this, the goal is not to create a gadget, but to make a discreet mediator that deepens our relationship with the living things in our homes. The creation of Roota transforms caretaking from a chore into a conversation with nature that is often forgotten in this day and age. The goal when designing was to create a new way for users to connect with their environment.
Designing for the Oddities and Curiosities Expo requires facing the challenge in promoting a space where preserved specimens, taxidermy, occult artifacts, and macabre art are presented not as shock value spectacles, but as objects worthy of respect, wonder, and genuine appreciation. The ultimate goal is to make the unusual feel familiar, without dulling the uniqueness of the expo itself.
